General Description
:
Fox glacier lodge is in the heart of the fox glacier village & is set on a quiet back section, with all cafes, restaurants & shops only 1/2minute walk. Within minutes drive to the glacier access & lake matheson. Our ultramodern, solid timber, reason built lodge is an ideal base while exploring the glacier region. We acquire 5 rooms in our b&b lodge & 3 self contained apartment style units (opened late 2005). What better way to unwind after a day on the glacier, heli-hike or even just a day driving than in one of our twofold spa bath units. We are more than happy to offer our local knowledge, in helping you book any of the wonderful activities our region has on offer. We will endeavour to make your stay a snug and unforgettable experience.

Mezzanine apartment - these units were new 2006. They are open plan, with a little lounge area, little kitchen & a bathroom with a double spa bath all downstairs. They possess a table & chairs, sofa, tv, dvd & cd player and a fire place. Upstairs on a mezzanine floor is a queen size bed & a single bed. Double lodge studio - this room has a queen size bed with an ensuite. It has tv, sofa, writing desk or coffee table. This also includes free continental selection breakfast for 2 daily. Lodge studio - this room has a queen size bed and a single bed with an ensuite. It also has a tv, sofa & writing desk or coffee table. This includes free continental selection breakfast for 2 people.
