Originally built in 1932 in the art deco/spanish mission style as a luxury hotel it is now refurbished to a qualmark 4 star plus premium backpacker hostel.
It is one of the most photographed building on the art deco walk and is a just a short stroll from the visitor information centre, beach, bus depot and ocean spa.
