Please note - there is no road access to awaroa lodge Aqua taxi provides a reliable water taxi service to the awaroa lodge. Taxis depart daily from marahau at 9. 00am, 10. 30am and 1. 30pm. Return services from awaroa depart daily at 10. 30am, 12noon and 3. 00pm. A return journey costs $nz70 per person, or a single way trip costs $nz38 per person. Upon arrival into awaroa you will hop off the boat into the water (shoes off!!). From there is it a 5 minute walk up to the lodge. Our porter will meet you off the boat and carry your luggage for you. Please contact awaroa lodge for bookings.
