General Description
:
The fiordland hotel-motel resort is situated on four acres of parkland overlooking te anau, in a tranquil garden setting. Every room has a picturesque, panoramic, million dollar view of the lake, mountains and the rural landscape, yet it is only an effortless walking distance to the shores of lake te anau and the town centre.
With 94 rooms we can offer a broad range of accommodation to suit every budget. The hotel has a choice of de luxe regency rooms and greater standard hotel rooms, all include tv, direct dial phone, tea, coffee and biscuits, and all rooms have en suite bathroom with bath and shower.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and presented in a 'house-proud' condition. A room for all needs! Rates range from $70 to $150nzd.
Our 17 motel studio units all have full cooking facilities. The eight budget motel units only have en suites, tea and coffee making facilities, tv, but no cooking although a communal kitchen is obtainable, or guests are welcome to dine in the hotel restaurants. The fiordland hotel-motel resort has rooms for all needs.
Features of the fiordland hotel intricate include:

- a fully licensed dwelling bar that caters for the eatery
- a public bar with pool table, jukebox and casino
- a multi-function centre to cater for large functions, from

The hotel also has a solar heated swimming pool intricate with spa pools, a large gas barbecue and a fenced children¿s play district adjacent to the complex.
A great place to relax and enjoy your holiday, or as a base for full day trips to doubtful sound and milford sound, walking tracks to experience nature at its supreme in the walking capital of the world - the milford, routeburn, greenstone and kepler tracks all have guided walks but can also be done independently, and of course te anau¿s unique glow worm caves is a must to see.
